My photography on this independant film noir was the subject of an article in American Cinematographer magazine.

Director: Richard Cannistraro, DP: Skip Roessel. Aspiring soap actresses find trouble on wild party circuit. More fun to shoot than to watch, unfortunately.


"The Eyes of the Amaryllis" 16mm

Director: Fred Keller DP:: Skip Roessel. With Ruth Ford, Martha Byrne, Guy Boyd (Disney Channel). Photographed on location on Nantucket Island, this moody ghost story is set in the 1880s, with candle-lit interiors.

Born in Boston, raised in Rochester, in upstate New York
BA in English, Film minor at Hamilton College, Clinton, NY

Apprenticed as still photographer, shooting commercial tabletop, architectural and editorial (35mm, large-format). Relocated to New York City, became freelance DP in 1982.

Driver's license, current passport, security clearance okay.
